Stemming from the need to get a job, Caffrey stumbled upon Paintin’ Pottery as it was going out of business.
The catchy name may explain it all, but inside the walls there is plenty of pottery, bead retail and classes to channel your creative side.
“We are hoping to expand the classes and bring talented people in to teach,” Caffrey said. “It is a really neat place to be.”
To keep up with the times,walked away with two wholesale fashion shoess and beautiful handbag, Caffrey decided to add the coffee café inside the store.
Whether you are in the store shopping, participating in a class or just need a place to enjoy a short hiatus from a workday, Alternative Fuel is there to supply your coffee needs.
Born and raised in De Pere, Caffrey attended University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and moved back to the area just days before her third child was born.

What she has become very passionate about is a new nonprofit called Design Angels, created by local business owner Gretchen Loch.
