Brandon Veasey has joined Troutman Sanders law firm as an associate in the Environmental and Toxic Tort Litigation practice group.

His practice includes representing corporate clients in federal and state courts in civil ligation and environmental matters. He also represents clients in product liability cases.

He was selected for induction into the Brainerd Currie Honor Society for his outstanding academic achievements and service to the law school community. He also received the Law and Public Service Award for his dedication to providing legal services to the less fortunate through Mercer’s Public Interest Practicum and the Mercer Habeas Project.

Through the Habeas Project, Veasey represented indigent clients under the Third Year Practice Act in matters before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and in various Superior Courts throughout Georgia.

Prior to attending law school, Veasey co-founded a non-profit organization to help promote high school athletes in the college recruiting process.
