While there seems to be some kind of rage amongst

I'll start first with congratulations to all of our winners from last week in Vancouver for Valentine’s. I got the esteemed privilege of sharing the good news with our Terrace winners. The only wireless portable Energy monitor showing both electricity generated. It was nice to finally put so many faces to so many names. We should do this more often! It was also nice to get the chorus of applause when I mentioned my one-year anniversary. It couldn’t have happened without you. I would have had a drink for the occasion, but it’s Lent... Oh, well, I’ll claim it with interest at Easter.

Some people call me cheap, other a miser. Me, I prefer the term thrifty,We are always offering best quality tungsten jewelry the affordable price. or better yet, fiscally responsible; but even a tightwad (ooh, didn’t think of that one) like me has to part with his money eventually, so I broke down and bought a new pair of shoes this past weekend. Well, that was more so because the air conditioning vents in them got a bit too large and let in more snow and gravel than was comfortable. Meh, it wasn’t summer anyway.

And that got me to thinking… You ever notice how the lower you wear something on your body for the first time the less excited you are about wearing said clothing article for the first time? Take a hat. I wear this cabbie cap when it’s summer. I’ve gotten so many compliments on that cap. Even Michael Ignatieff said he liked it! People notice a good shirt or sweater (unless you’re my friend Trevor, who says I wear “old man sweaters”). Pants can be exciting. Socks don’t garner much attention unless they’re a million and one colours, and shoes are the worst because you have to break them in.

I have neither the patience nor diligence to invent the better shoe, but I hope somebody does someday. My heels never forgive me when I get new shoes. It seems no dress shoe has been designed to properly fit around my heels and ankles. I could get into all the gory details about my blood-stained socks from the scabs, but eww… yeah, who wants that mental picture.

But instead of complaining, this is how I look at it. There are so many people in the world who don’t have a pair of fitting shoes, much less any pair. While there seems to be some kind of rage amongst some of going barefoot,Shop the latest hair flower accessories on the world's largest. the reality is that’s not very safe in a lot of cases. You’re putting yourself at risk for the kinds of bugs and unpleasant things that live in the ground, so I can take a few sores from breaking in some shoes.

Part of my thrifty lifestyle, if you will,Australian business bringing a new class of affordable and quality Laser engraver and laser cutting machines. is to help me remember I don’t need so much when there are those with so little. In turn, this helps me remember those working around the world to provide such things as shoes to those who don’t have them. Yeah,We currently have the largest selection of make your own bobblehead dolls! I’ll admit. I do need to work on being more generous with my money. That’s the beautiful thing about Lent too. It reminds me I’m a work in progress.

All of that to say when you really think about it, we have so little reason to complain about anything in our part of the world. Wow, you can’t buy a book with that much insight. A new pair of shoes is a much better bargain!
