A moneylender was allegedly shot dead in the Nangla region of Noida on Saturday night, after he went there to collect a sum owed to him. The deceased has been identified as Sonu Verma, a resident of Sorkha village, who ran a small jewellery store in Bhangel. A senior police officer said on Saturday night, Verma went to Nangla to collect money from two persons. “They had not paid either the principal loan or the interest. He went to speak to them.
