A man, 23, was charged last Tuesday with the alleged indecent assault of a woman in Quakers Hill in September. At 3.20pm on September 18, a woman, 20, was travelling on a bus between Blacktown and Stanhope Gardens when a man sat behind her and began speaking with her. The man allegedly grabbed the woman from behind and indecently assaulted her. She moved to another seat and he got off the bus. Quakers Hill Police conducted investigations into the incident arresting a man at 7pm last Tuesday. He was charged with assault with an act of indecency and granted conditional bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court on November 22.

A couple in their 70s were threatened by three masked men last Tuesday,who forced their way into the Poole Rd home in Kellyville. Police are investigating the stealing of $5000 worth of scrap metal from a residence in Edward St, Riverstone sometime between 8pm on Monday and 6am on Tuesday. Police said the offenders managed to smash through a brick wall to get to the scrap metal.

A Riverstone woman, 29, has been charged with being in possession of an illegal drug after police conducted a search warrant on a residence in Dugald St, Riverstone on Monday at 10.15am. As a result of the search warrant a quantity of cannabis was seized, along with other drug paraphernalia.
